
Samsung's Sliding PC 7 Series
Samsung unveiled its Sliding PC 7 Series yesterday at CES and WinRumors got a quick hands on today.
The Sliding PC 7 Series is a Windows 7 Tablet laptop hybrid. It features Intel’s 1.66GHz Z670 Oak Trail processor, 10.1″ touchscreen, 32GB SSD and 2GB of RAM. The tablet weighs just 2.1 pounds. It also includes a USB HDMI ports, a 4-in-1 card reader and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. Samsung says the device will retail in March for $699. Battery life is expected to be around 9 hours according to Samsung.

Samsung will also ship this tablet hybrid with 35 application specially designed for touch. 23 of those were created in partnership with Microsoft. The sliding PC is unique and at a reasonable price point so it will likely be a popular choice for those who want a Tablet device but also need a keyboard too.
