Low-cost but still very fast and well-performing. Very nice, Acer.

I yawned at this phone, but least people looking for lower cost phones (without being low end) will be happy.

It is the abundance of low-cost phones that helped make Android a success. This is what WP7 also needs to become mass-adopted. Even though you might not care for low-cost WP7 devices, ultimately it would benefit you indirectly in the long run by making the platform more popular.

While I agree, let’s not use Android as an example.. that platform is an utter mess.

    low-cost for you!I can’t afford it :-(

Exactly. One can buy a new Amazon tablet for $199, and they they 299EUR is affordable for a phone. MS, you gonna have to do a lot better with providing quality hardware at affordable prices to be competitive against Android.

MS doesn’t control or set the price of the hardware.

If you’re in the US , try wireless.amazon.com. Several for 0.01, usually best price around.

300 Euro means about $400, which means it should come free with a 2-year agreement, right?
