Microsoft is planning to demo Star Wars for Kinect at its E3 press conference next week.
The software giant hinted at Star Wars for Kinect on its E3 press badge, distributed last week. The company is holding its 90 minute press briefing on June 6. The press conference will be streamed live on MTV.com, spike.com, xbox.com/e3, facebook.com and gametrailers.com. Microsoft will be demonstrating its latest Xbox 360 games, including Gears of War 3. The company has also promised to show off a number of Kinect games at E3.
Geoff Keighley, host of Spike TV’s GTTV, revealed on Saturday that Star Wars for Kinect will be officially unveiled live during the Xbox 360 E3. Microsoft previously teased Star Wars for Kinect last year at E3 but is planning to detail it fully this year. The company is also likely to announce a number of key Xbox 360 games. Microsoft used the conference to launch its Xbox 360 S last year and Kinect (formerely Project Natal) in 2009.
