Wireless Desktop 2000

Microsoft revealed a brand new keyboard and mouse set this week, aimed at security conscious users.

The Wireless Desktop 2000 is Microsoft’s first desktop combo that includes Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 128-bit technology. AES will help secure any information transmitted wirelessly between the mouse and keyboard. The security includes a unique pre-programmed 128-bit encryption key which is designed to help prevent any keystokes, transmitted wirelessly, from being intercepted and deciphered.

Microsoft has also included its popular BlueTrack technology on the Wireless Mouse 2000. The technology enables smooth tracking on most surfaces apart from clear glass or mirrors. “The Wireless Desktop 2000 is a great option for anyone looking for a new keyboard with great security and performance features,” said Microsoft’s Suneel Goud.”So whether you’re looking to upgrade or redecorate, the Wireless Desktop 2000 will help protect your information and keep your desktop looking stylish.”

The Wireless Desktop 2000 is available immediately priced at $39.95 (£39.99).
