Microsoft has signed a lease for 237,000 square feet at Moffett Towers in Sunnyvale, according to reports.
The software giant will occupy the space at 1020 Enterprise Way in January 2012. Bizjournals reports that the company was rumored to have lost out on space in Mountain View to Google and Palo Alto to VMware. Microsoft already has offices in Silicon Valley, based at 1065 La Avenida St in mountain view. Microsoft’s relocation will include an expansion of several business units from Mountain View and Palo Alto to its new building. Moffett Towers contains seven eight-story buildings.
