New Samsung Windows Phone
Samsung’s new Focus S Windows Phone device has been spotted in the wild.
The Focus S was originally unveiled at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference earlier this year and looks to be the second generation of Samsung’s popular Focus handset. Pocket Now received an image (see below) of the device in action. Samsung’s next-generation focus includes a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.4GHz processor, 4G network support and a 1.3MP front facing camera. The rear of the device is equipped with an 8MP camera.
AT&T is planning to make the device available “this fall” alongside a cheaper Focus Flash model. The Samsung Focus S will likely be a U.S. only model with a Omnia equivalent for European markets. AT&T revealed that the Focus S is only 8.55mm thick, meaning it’s thinner than Apple’s iPhone 4.
