The Ace will probably be my next phone!

    • JJinge

Depending on the weight, it might be perfect to upgrade my HD2!

      Same here.

    • DonC

      I’m thinking HD2 -> Ace too.

I would never have believed that my next phone would be a Nokia when I bought the HD2!

HOLY!!!!!! NOKIA take my money NAO!! :D

    Nokia ftw

If the battery is decent (and it should be at 1800mah) the Ace will be my new phone. Those specs are so much win.

    • lol

Yep, Ace for me as well if it has that nice form factor in the leak photo.

  • http://www.timsmithmma.com Tim Smith

I really hope the Ace has a 32gb model as well. 16gb is just too low. I have 24gb in my Focus now.

    • http://twitter.com/grub5000 Graeme M

As I understand it the Ace is the WP7 version of the N9 which comes in 16gb and 64gb models.

    • Fanel89

How can Ace with the 4.3 screen be the WP version of N9? The Searay / Sabre is the N9 version with the 3.7. Ace is a different phone that won’t even come out in 2011 (Q1 2012 to be exact). Searay / Sabre is the Nokia WP phone that will see daylight this year.

    • Syrious

just go buy a sandisk 32GB sd card, works fine on my samsung focus w/ mango – 40GB total space = win

Seeing it as an option on the Sabre kind of makes me want interchangable back covers on the Ace too, those specs are great and I’m sure I’d love the phone… I just wouldn’t mind also having one that stood out a little. My past 7 phones have all been black or silver, I would like to have the option of clipping on a forest green or a chocolate brown cover to the phone.

Beggars can’t be choosers I suppose.

What is better CBD or AMOLED?

    • Anonymous

Read the specs again and then tell me, if you found out that cbd is just a technology used in/on/for an amoled screen

    • https://profiles.google.com/christopher.gull/ CG

CBD is actually a type of AMOLED screen, but differs somewhat in physical construction to Super AMOLED(+).. CBD also employs a type of polarising filter to, supposedly, reduce glare in bright light.

    • JustPassingThru

      FYI only: http://www.oled-info.com/nokia-clearblack-display-cbd

“In September 2010, Nokia has announced the ClearBlack Display (CBD) technology. CBD is an AMOLED display with a polarized filter on top. The filter blocks light, and so it helps the display perform better outdoors. CBD is not the same as a Super-AMOLED display (which is an AMOLED with a touch-panel built-in).”

CBD is more advanced the AMOLED, but if you meant Super AMOLED then they are about the same. =)

    Why unveil ONE phone?

When I decided to get a Nokia Windows Phone, i didn’t know that there would be something that great as the Ace. I’m going to compare the Ace and the Sea Ray, when they are in stores and then I’ll decide if screen size or rather portability is more important to me. I want to have the 26th of October nowww

  • Anonymous

If the Ace has the same camera quality as the N8 then I’ll be buying it!

  • Taltara

    no 32gb? comeon people…

    • Ccsvchost

      25gig skydrive

    • Anonymous

16GB only is still just rumored it may have 16/32 ( similar to Samsung Focus S 4G) and may also include MicroSD slot.  Oct 26th Nokia event is just around the corner. =)

    What does Mango+ mean?!

    • guest

Probably a hint that it will have an OS release later than mango. Tango/Apollo? In which case expect a later release date.

    • Guest

maybe they will use their ability tweek wp7.5?

  • RAH

There has to be a 64gig model just to mentally be on Par with the Next IPHONE

  • http://twitter.com/pierrerv Pierre Venescar

    I’d get the  Ace

  • Anonymous

will it have a microSD slot? That has always been my issue with apple products. I want expandable storage. The cloud is bull. You don’t have WiFi access everywhere and if you travel abroad the roaming data charges are exorbitant. Since most carriers cap the data, forget about streaming video. So, I need expandable storage.

I want one on Sprint, I am ready to upgrade from my WM6.5 Intrepid!

As much as the hype is, prepare to be disappointed. The tipster to the Nokia blog is annonymus and the bloggers over there didn’t believe it either.
But if true, I hope the Ace has 64GB or at least 32GB storage.

  • Anonymous

I can see Nokia wants my money!

  • Bob_jones

It seems like the race is between the Titan – Ace – Focus S for the WP7 flagship device. The one with the most memory (internal+expandable) wins….

  • http://twitter.com/tw33tcOurtn3y c0urtn3y

Will the Nokia Maps App only work on Nokia Phones, because I noticed it said “This App is not available for your device. Tap here for more info”. The Ace will definitely be the replacement for my N8. can’t wait to see what it looks like.

No FFC on any of the models? Or is it just a omission? No FFC is a deal breaker for me as I use my phone for Video Calls a lot. But If these specs are real and is released in US on any carrier I will buy one. Make sure to have FFC on one of the model.

  • Artur

I hope Sea Ray come to tmobile USA.

  • Anonymous

Now using a Nokia N8. Waiting for a WP as good as that one.

  • StefanP

The memory is too low, unless there is a microSD slot, which I don’t believe. Instead SkyDrive will be an integral part. The operators will love this, as this will boost data volume usage.
One more reason to buy the N9 with 64GB, which I just reserved. I am sure I can connect a SkyDrive as well, but only if I want to!
My complete CD collection is just below 16GB. No way to access it over 3G or WLAN!

so 3 phones and none have a keyboard?

  • chintan prajapati

nokia doing nice job @ this stage….

  • joe

The N9 come with 3.9 screen…….the 800 will comes with a smaller 3.7 screen size?
